Here is the music license agreement I drew up with Conor. I used a website called ‘Docrasy’ which aims to provide free legal documents. The below agreement was what Conor and I were looking for in terms of him being the creator of the creative material and him allowing me, and Square Wheel Productions, the ability to use this content however we choose, within our film.

Songwriter Song / Film Research
Songs of Inspiration
To give our songwriter an accurate view of what and how we want the songs to sound for the film, we constructed a list of appropriate songs that convey the correct emotion / ‘feel’ we are going for. We also included a few films as ideal reference points for him to watch. The director and I went through and listened to a range of soundtracks and songs to find ones we both agreed would be fit the film, but also would fit Conor’s writing style.
